This was back in 2013 when I completed the "Destination New Bedford" hospitality training. I have always taken time out of my day to help tourists find their way around. Add friendly suggestions where to eat, shop, and site see.
One of the best ways to keep a downtown going is through advertising for all of your local businesses. Be aware of what the other shops and restaurants have to offer so you can help folks find what they need.

Attention local downtown town businesses we have some great second hand displays pieces for sale like this rolly slat wall cube. It has been so useful to us would love someone to have it. Dm or comment we have hooks that fit into the slat wall, it can be painted. It's 24 by 24 inches around and 48 inches hight. The fact that it is on wheels makes it super helpful.
