PSA Yesterday 12/21/25 was
The last Victorian Christmas event for the year for Nevada City . A freak accident happened do to the rain and a tree came down and took out the power for the entire town and surrounding residents , As a result nearly every single business in town had to close down for the day not only for security reasons but also liability reasons,
The vendors in the streets use battery powered lights and also being outside have the daylight to highlight their products. The brick and mortar stores are not prepared for power outages . Reports are coming in that most lost a vast amount of income for the day which helps get some business through the year.
So please get out show your support that we and the other businesses in town, that are hear year round need You to show some love to make up for the 0$ day many had .

Winston is having a wonderful month. He had his first birthday on the 8th, he got to meet Santa… and he has been at every window and door all month long, trying to make friends with anyone and everyone who noticed him… if you notice him when walking by the shop… take a moment and say hello to him… it makes him a happy little guy… ( he thinks everyone is in town to say hello to him 🤣. )

I was Pushed to do something new , anatomy ! I Had fun I stepped out of my comfort zone. they gave me a direction and said “ go for it “ .
Customers are extremely pleased with the final results and are now being proudly worn by the recipient holding a celebratory drink , they are high profile in the community so one may get a glimpse of it out in the wilds of our community

For those of you folks that aren't familiar with us we hand make about 85% of all the jewelry we sell and we do that on site at 301 Broad Street Nevada City
We are family owned and operated since 1974 under the same ownership .
We not only make wearable pieces of art made of precious metals and gems of every kind , we make jewelry that is meant to last generations and look great doing so.
Don't forget even though it was sunny and 60 degrees out today , Christmas is 2-1/2 weeks away .
