People sometimes ask me how I can live in a place that is so uncomfortably hot and humid during the summer.

All I can say is… 70-degree beach days in the middle of February? Yes Please!

This might be controversial, but I don't miss living in the Pacific Northwest. Up there, it felt like summer was the only time of year I could comfortably go outside. I would suffer through 9 months of cold and grey and constant drizzle for those few short months when the sun came out and made everything okay again.

Now I live in a place that has year-round sunshine and comfortable warm days throughout the winter. Don't me wrong… we get a few unbearably cold days here in the panhandle, but for the most part, the weather is pretty smooth sailing.

If you're thinking of moving to Florida, let me help you find the right neighborhood for you and navigate the real estate market lie a pro.

Comment the word "RELO" and I'll send you my Navarre, FL Relocation Guide.

“If I don’t get my price, I’m not selling.”
It’s a line I hear all the time — and it’s understandable.
But here’s the thing: the market doesn’t respond to what we hope a home is worth.
It only responds to what buyers are willing to pay right now.

🏡 In Navarre, prices have actually been pretty stable — which is good news for sellers in a market where some areas are seeing declines.

But here’s the issue: Some sellers are pricing well above what the market will support—numbers that just don’t line up with what buyers are willing (or able) to pay.

Where is that coming from?
Maybe it’s expectations from the 2021 frenzy.
Maybe it’s wishful thinking.
But the Navarre housing market has been flat — and today’s buyers are more price-sensitive than ever.

Here’s the better strategy:
📉 Price it right from the start
📊 Align with market data, not emotion
⏳ Sell faster — and often for more — by meeting the market, not fighting it

Before you list, ask yourself: why now?
If selling is truly your goal, pricing correctly is your most powerful tool.
If you’re only willing to sell at a “unicorn” price, the open market may not be the right fit.

In 2021, I'd list a home on Thursday and have multiple offers by Monday.

Today? It's a different story.

Now, the right strategy is everything. Pricing, prep, and marketing can make or break your bottom line.

But here’s the part you don’t see in the headlines:

40% of homes in Navarre still sold in under 30 days last month.

What makes the difference? It usually comes down to this: pricing, presentation, and how the home compares to the competition.

Thinking about selling soon? This is your reminder that even in a slower market, results like this are still possible.
