Happy Friday !! A great simple layering necklace is a perfect summer staple. I have been in Italy for almost three weeks, and loving my layering pieces I can wear with just about anything. Often in summer we want light, airy ...and jewelry that doesn't weigh us down or create extra heat. I love light layering pieces for this exact reason.

These beautiful Raw Australian Opals are a perfect light summer layer, plus the earthy feel of the opals are perfect for an easy, breezy summer wardrobe. A little bit lavender, a little bit taupe, a little bit pink ...these check alot of boxes for a great complimentary piece. And even though the clasp doesn't show, I do let you choose your metal color because I know everyone has preferences and this is a piece that can accommodate either.

Opals are a little different than a traditional "crystaline" gemstone ...and are called "amorphous." While not considered a lightweight stone, they are indeed lighter than their crystaline, more structured counterparts. I love this particular cut of raw opals as they remind me a little bit of cut shells ...making them a really beautiful companion for summer pieces & styling. Enjoy!!

Happy Friday !! As fish seem to continue to be all the rage, you know I had to have a summer Friday Feature showcasing the little reticulated feeesh everyone seems to be obsessed with. While I LOVE the vintage ones ...and have had a few in the past for trunk shows), I had to source a larger number if I wanted to have them as a Friday Feature.

I also wanted to have multiple options for you guys, layering, charm possibilities and versatility along with the cute little fish!! I decided on these fab African trade beads, as they are so fun to layer for summer, plus a great mid-length layer for pretty much any other charm you want to try out.

The clasp itself is a push through clasp (almost like a little carabiner) where you can attach the necklace itself ...and also the fish ...and extra charms if you so choose. *Please refer to the video for an explanation!! Happy Friday from Italy!! I thought being back in Italy I might re-surface a design I did last year while also in Italy. This is the third iteration of these beauties in a different colorway, and they continue to be such a popular design. Lightweight, and yet just enough of a statement, these have become a fan favorite, and while they are very labor intensive, I do love the end results!!

Its always fun to choose color combinations, but when I saw these gorgeous Red Onyx, I felt like they chose the Turquoise accent color themselves! Happy Friday !! I always love some really bold colors for summer. Spring tends to be all about the pastels ...but come summer ...I want to see color pop!! How about this fabulous duo for color !! Happy Friday !! So my friend Barbara calls this style her "Hermione's Bag" ...as it can just magically hold everything. And while Hermione's bag is actually itty-bitty, these are quite spacious, but without the weight, as they are canvas with very little extra hardware. I did the same style, in some different fabrics last summer for a Friday Feature, and they all sold out. But I always have new people to Soul & Story, so I like to do a few repeats ...as long as they are also different. A saying I love from Southeast Asia ...'Same same, but different!!" ...yeah, that is a great motto when you have Friday Feature favorites that come back around in a different way. Happy Friday !! I always like having a set of earrings that are appropriate for the season that I'm in ...and I can throw on every day without having to think too much!! I'm heading to Alexandria this weekend, and it will be a very quick trip up and back, and I want to pack really light. I grabbed these for myself to be my every day ....as they will go with whatever necklace or bracelet stack I layer in. Happy Friday !! Its officially April ...I mean, how is that possible!!?? It was Jan 1 last week! I just can't believe how fast the first part of 2026 has already flown by. Of course, April is a great month. We are seeing the blooming of beautiful redbud, pear and dogwood trees, and the beautiful annuals are starting to show up. I love that phrase "April showers bring May flowers," which is what inspired this little bracelet stack combo! The little raincloud is adorable, and a great companion piece for the Turquoise Jasper / Heart charm combo (which yes, I made removable for you guys). I always love an instant bracelet stack ...and I know you guys do to!!

Happy Friday !! Its definitely spring here in Nashville ...even quite warm this week! (unlike the Italy house ..which had snow this morning)!! Crazy! If you know me at all, you know there are several things that are always in my totebag ...some form of lip accoutrement (usually at least a gloss), a hair tie, and a scarf!! Scarves are the quintessential accessory ...and fashion "insiders" keep saying ..."Scarves are back!!" Honestly homies, for me ...they never left. Call me out of style, but make no matter ...I always have one. They are as practical as they are pretty, and always take that uncomfortable edge of a chilly AC inside in the summer.

This particular style of silk organza scarf is one of my favorites. A perfect lightweight transition piece ...I particularly love this color way with some darks and lights, which blend in to make a fabulous spring / summer must-have inside the tote! (or in a bow around it... I do this too). I featured one of these last year late spring and not only did it sell out ...I had a crazy long wait-list for it.
