Today’s tip 👉🏼 how to change the date on your watch without damaging it

👉🏼Between roughly 9:00 and 3:00 on the dial, the gears that change the date are already engaged. If you force the date wheel during that window, you can strip or damage the movement 😣

To correctly change that date on your watch:
👉🏼 Move the hands to about 6:00 first
👉🏼 Then change the date
👉🏼 Set the correct time afterward

⏱️ This applies to most automatic and quartz watches with a date complication, if you’re unsure about your specific watch, we can help!

It’s not just a Tuesday, it’s Watch Tip Tuesday😎

Today’s tip is how to wind an automatic watch👇🏼
Andrew breaks it down using a Rolex Sky-Dweller, from unscrewing the crown to winding it correctly and securing it back in place⏱️

👉🏼 Depending on your model, you’ll generally want to turn the crown clockwise around 30–40 times to give the movement a proper wind
👉🏼 Screw the crown back down securely to help keep moisture out
