Anuna Pearl is located on Takaroa: a small, remote atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago of French Polynesia — home to just over 500 people and some of the most pristine waters in the world.

Takaroa has a long history of pearl farming; its lagoon is one of many that have made the Tuamotu Archipelago the home of Tahitian black pearl production.

Would you have guessed these colors are completely natural? 🌊 All Tahitian pearls are grown in the Black-Lipped Oyster, native to French Polynesia. The oyster is what gives Tahitian pearls their naturally dark body color. As it coats the pearl with thousands of layers of nacre, each oyster creates a completely unique combination of color and luster.

That’s why no two pearls are exactly alike. You might see shades of silver, green, blue, peacock, bronze, or deep charcoal- all naturally occurring.

In the video you’ll see many peacock color pearls. This is the most sought after color for Tahitian pearls. These have multiple different color undertones that make each pearl especially unique.

One of the necklaces features a trio of uniquely colored 7mm Anuna Pearls- all blue green color! The only other one currently available is a mix of 8mm blue, aubergine, and green pearls. Then it’s your choice of gold or silver chain.
