As I worked on this memorial necklace, weaving a loved one’s hair into silver, I found myself grieving my grandma, who just passed the day before. I thought about the immeasurable love a grandmother gives and the way it lives on long after she’s gone.

This piece holds a daughter’s love. A lifetime of memories. The kind of presence that never really leaves, even in absence.

“Greatly loved, deeply missed” is something we all experience. I’m honored that I was chosen to create a piece that represents the bond between mother and daughter.
