We had a great time yesterday evening, with 104.1 WLBC, watching 25 contestants work to melt small blocks of ice to find out whether the gemstone suspended inside was one of 24 CZ’s, or if they had the 1/2ct. fine natural diamond! The diamond winner, Candace, was very efficient at melting the ice, and very excited that hers was the diamond!

We want to let everyone know that we will be closed for vacation February 28th through March 10th. We'll reopen for our usual Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday hours starting on March 11th.

Multiple members of our staff have kids on spring break that week, so being closed that week will be the best way for us to make sure that all of us have some quality family vacation time, without ending up very short-staffed. We appreciate your patience while we spend this extra time with our families.

That includes this gorgeous, hand-crafted, 14K white gold, opal pendant. We chose one of the most beautiful opals we could find (11x10mm pear-ish shape) and hand sculpted this free-form pendant mounting to display it. The regular price for the pendant is $795, but during this sale it is only $636 (excluding the chain). From now until Christmas we'll be OPEN EVERY DAY so that there are additional hours for us to help with your holiday shopping or any other fine jewelry needs.

And we're open until 7pm on all weekdays. Saturday hours are 9:30 to 3:00. And Sunday the 21st we'll be open from noon to 5:00. On Christmas Eve we'll be open until 3:00, and then we'll be taking some days off until we reopen on December 30th.

If you'd like a beautiful piece of jewelry for the holidays we probably have just the right design in our showcases, and a lot of those designs are 20%-off their regular price!

Todd Murray recently picked out this beautiful blue diamond in the diamond district of Antwerp, Belgium. Then he hand sculpted all of the intricate details of the pendant design in wax, and then cast it into 14K white gold. Then we polished the gold and very carefully set the .98ct. fine pear shape diamond into it. The length of the entire pendant is approximately 3/4 inch.

The price of this one-of-a-kind pendant is $9,800 (not including the chain). The particular chain shown in the photos is a 1.0mm thick wheat style, but the pendant will also work with many other chains, including ones that you may already have at home. The diamond is a natural diamond that has had its color enhanced in a laboratory.

We are about to travel to Antwerp, Belgium, to purchase diamonds for our customers! A couple of us will be leaving for Europe on October 24th and we're offering great sale prices on all pre-ordered diamonds, along with 15% off most jewelry that we craft to set the diamonds into. Although we usually have our showroom open only on Wednesdays through Fridays, this week we'll be fully open on Tuesday, July 1st, so that we'll be available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday before closing on Friday for the extended 4th of July weekend.
