Aistheta Nature-inspired handcrafted jewelry! My jewelry is created using a technique know as fold-forming. Other pieces are created through the beauty of etching.

Color is added with patinas or color pencil. My jewelry is as diverse and individual as people are. A graphic artist and photographer by trade I enjoy exploring different forms of creativity. I have a passion for jewelry and enjoy scouring antique stores, estate sales and the occasional rummage sale for vintage pieces to incorporate into my jewelry. When I’m on a treasure hunt it’s exciting when I

spot an item and I can envision how it can be repurposed for one of my pieces! Recently I have also been having fun silversmithing... working with sterling silver. Setting stones in different ways. Creating small pieces of art. In addition I have found the fun and beauty in etching brass and copper. I have achieved some interesting vintage effects with etching and plan to start using the in my jewelery.

Reinvigorated after a couple of weekends off, the Girls and I are ready for Paoli Art in the Park this weekend!

Paoli is a small, quaint town, just south of Madison, with many charming shops and small businesses. Paoli Art in the Park will feature 85 talented artists.

The Girls and I were not at an show... I continue to feed my creativity! Slowly working to complete my Soul House I started in class last Saturday. Also feeding my creative juices I visited the
Milwaukee Mineral, Fossil, Gem & Jewelry Show. There I found some beautiful stone to enhance my jewelry designs.

At the show I picked up a few carved stone (usually not my thing, but these spoke to me), laramar, imperial opal, flower agate, a few pieces of kunzite, fossil shells with druzy and petrified wood with druzy (love both of theses), a number of stars carved from various stones (because who can resist a star), a number of other stones, and for my personal collection part of a mammoth tooth (because how cool is that... and beautiful). ... can't wait to create with these!

More tent maintenance this week. ... Sunday it rained, but everything dried by the end of the Art Fair. Sadly it rained again briefly after everything but the tent was packed, so today I set up the tent, scrubbed the top, and left it to dry so it will be ready for my next 2 day show.
