Sauce, styling, and a little creativity 🤌🍝

Here at Smith Design, we partnered with Victoria Fine Foods to design the packaging for Recipe d’Italia, a new line of ready-to-use sauces inspired by the flavors and culinary traditions of four iconic Italian regions, with illustrations that draws on the timeless charm of traditional European postcards.

Shot and styled entirely at our in-house studio, this photoshoot showcased the ingredients, flavors, and personality behind Victoria Sauce.

Dill pickle and everything bagel aren't going anywhere, which is exactly why Green Giant’s limited-edition line tapped into these trending flavors.

For Dill Pickle Seasoned Roasted Potatoes and Everything Bagel Seasoned Green Beans & Potatoes, that meant breaking from Green Giant's typical packaging architecture. Rather than working within the brand's established system, the Smith Design team designed something bolder and more playful, built specifically to capture the personality of these flavors and stand out as a true limited-edition moment on shelf.

A fresh look for an iconic favorite. ✨

We partnered with Crisco to reimagine the brand experience from shelf to screen. A refreshed packaging system gives the iconic brand a more contemporary look, while a 0:30 Connected TV campaign and a full website redesign extends that evolution across every consumer touchpoint. The result is a cohesive brand experience that celebrates Crisco's heritage while showcasing the versatility, great taste, and everyday benefits of its all-vegetable shortening through a fresh, approachable lens.

And with Miranda Lambert’s new song and upcoming album Crisco bringing its own recipe to the name, we’d say Crisco is having a moment. 🎶

Great packaging doesn't just sit on a shelf, it creates an experience.

Smith Design partnered with Victoria Fine Foods to create the package design for Recipe d’Italia, a new line of ready-to-use sauces inspired by four iconic Italian regions: Bologna, Naples, Tuscany, and Calabria.

The concept? Traditional European postcards which each label a visual love letter to its region: the coastline of Naples, a Tuscan villa, and the rustic spirit of Bologna and Calabria. Every color, illustration, and detail chosen to evoke taste, travel, and memory.

Together, these elements create a package design system that cuts through shelf noise while deepening emotional connection. 🍅🇮🇹

As cold-pressed pet food continues to gain traction, brands face a unique challenge: educating consumers on what makes the process different while standing out in an increasingly premium category.

For Supreme Source, Smith Design developed a packaging design that does both. By giving Cold Pressed a stronger presence on pack, designing around the product-viewing window as a key communication tool, and elevating the overall visual identity, we helped transform curiosity into confidence at shelf.

The result is packaging that not only captures attention but also helps consumers quickly understand the value behind the product.
