I had made a comment on a resin video offering help to a new artist, who was asking advice on how to create a hair- tree of life pendant with hair and ashes.
I told her I would make a tutroial for her.

Well after I wrote that comment, about 15 more artist also reached out, all wanting to see the tuturial as well.
so I decided I would just post it publicly

I tried & tried to shorten the video, but it was over an hour of footage. So 4 mins was the best I could do. I promise itā€™s worth it, to watch to the end.

I wanted to reach out and ask something a little different.

If you happen to have necklace chains you no longer use ā€” any style, size, or color ā€” I would love to give them a new purpose. They do not need to be real gold or silver, just in good condition.

I use chains for my display tables (I set up multiple tables at a time), and instead of buying 20ā€“30 new chains just for display pieces that wonā€™t be worn or sold, Iā€™d much rather reuse and recycle ones that are sitting unused in jewelry boxes.

This also helps me offer more affordable chain options for clients who donā€™t want precious metals but still want something pretty and functional with their keepsake pendants šŸ’•

Even if a chain still has a pendant on it ā€” thatā€™s okay! I may be able to repurpose the pendant for resin projects as well.

Iā€™ve added photos of my display so you can see how theyā€™re used.
And just so you know ā€” this is something Iā€™m always in need of as I grow.

You all have seen me demold this plaque on my page but Here is the process of the whole thing from beginning to end. This was a beautiful and perfect way to honor baby Addie and her family and their memories.

Some pieces hold more than flowersā€¦ they hold stories, love, and the little moments a family wishes they could have had more time with.
This keepsake was created with the funeral flowers of a precious baby girl gone far too soon and photos of their family. Every petal was placed with care, every detail made with the deepest respect for her memory and her familyā€™s love. šŸ¤
