How amazing are these retro pieces? Both are 14k rose gold with diamonds and rubies (real rubies in the brooch, synthetic in the ring). These were acquired separately but are a match made in heaven!

The retro period happened from the late 1930s-1940s and was affected by the World War II. It is common to see gold pieces from this era (yellow, rose, white and green) because platinum was being used for war efforts.
