Carl Davis the owner and founder of Davis Fine Jewelry, a native from Chicago. At the age of thirteen he began making sterling sliver jewelry out of spoons and forks, such items as rings bracelets, earrings, etc. He would sell these items at the world famous Maxwell Street flea market in Chicago. He moved to Montgomery Alabama by way of New Orleans, Louisiana, where he worked for the cities finest
local jeweler and ultimately the worlds largest jeweler. Davis attended the world renowned Holland School for Jewelers in Selma, Alabama. Where he received a graduate master jewelry degree. Soon after graduation, he opened his first retail business, in Montgomery Mall. After many years of being in the business Davis Fine Jewelry & Repair has become to be a state of the art cutting edge repair lab, the largest in the city of Montgomery. The lab houses such equipment as the Rofin Laser as well as the Roland Cab Cam Lathe that uses the latest 3-design programming, that designs the most intriguing pieces of jewelry.
