Montana and Montreal at the shop for a few nights... Fixed a few things on the Montreal Airstream today and waiting on parts for Montana is coming in next week. Silver Moose Restorations is an INTERNATIONAL Airstream shop! Lol. We love our customers from near and far!

The 2018 Airstream Serenity is done! We repaired the Front End Separation for them with our custom steel bracket, replaced the original shocks, and added some interior modifications as well. We removed the slide out bed extension in the living room and created our TV cabinet along with a small drawer to fill in the space. Our wedge cabinet was expanded a few inches by request and we created a grid to hold w**e bottles for them. The two nightstands were extended upwards 6 in which added space for a drawer on each side. Everything got topped off with matching Corian countertops and we also swapped out the bathroom Formica top for Corian as well

Busy day at the shop with one past client stopping in for an assessment on some more work they'd like done to their 3001 Safari and a couple from Chicago stopping in to visit the shop and meet us while on a trip through Maine.

1973 shower repair... this shower pan and seat had deteriorated to the point where it was extremely brittle. We rebuilt the back side with fiberglass and patched the holes. Completely rebuilt the area around the drain. Then we painted it with epoxy paint, reinstalled it and made new inserts for the trim.

2018 Airstream Serenity progress...

The front and separation has been repaired, the Cabinetry installed and the countertops fitted. Still working on the bathroom countertop and the rest of them will be permanently installed tomorrow. We built a new TV cabinet with 5 usable drawers and a lower flip down door, a larger than normal wedge cabinet by the door with a modular w**e rack inside that can be changed as to how the customers want to utilize it. We built a cabinet under the dinette seat to close off the open sides of the under bench drawer, and created an integrated shoe cubby. The bedroom nightstands were extended upwards by 6 inches which created space for 2 more drawers. The TV cabinet, nightstands and bathroom countertops all received new matching Corian solid surface material to match the rest of the kitchen. This one should be done by the end of the week.

Busy Monday! Two projects finished...axle job on a vintage and fan replacement on a 2020, 2 other projects we were waiting for parts came back in to continue their repairs, Corian countertops for the 2018 Serenity were glued up, met with new customers from Massachusetts, and our newest guy started today. He jumped right in on the axle job, swept floors and got to work programming the CnC machine. He will be a big asset on the CnC router as he has a CnC milling machine at home and will be able to fabricate steel and aluminum parts for us.
