LaNorma has appeared on “Marketplace” radio, various fashion, business and craft blogs and was featured in the August 2010 edition of Prevention Magazine. She was selected as one of the Contemporary African American Designers from San Francisco to New York to watch. Selections from her handcrafted jewelry collection have been featured at the NY Women in Communications events, Crystal Couture, DC Fashion Week, and Fashion for Hope events in Washington DC metro area as well as charitable events with the Greater Washington Lupus, Tigerlily foundation, and Labour of Love Foundation. LaNorma was awarded first prize in a Jewelry design contest sponsored by Mimi Gems and was a finalists in a European Jewelry Design Contest sponsored by Swarovski Crystal Elements and Perles and Co.
