Years ago, in Texas, I worked with a manager named Miss Patti. She took me under her wing, welcomed me like family, and introduced me to the art of goldsmithing. Her encouragement opened the door to the craft that would shape my life, and her influence has stayed with me ever since.
Years later, that story led me back to Montana.
Today, GEM Jewelers sits just off Pattee Canyon—a place surrounded by the landscape, community, and beauty I’m proud to call home. Every time I say “Pattee,” I think of both: the woman who first helped me find my way into goldsmithing and back to Montana, place where my roots have grown.
Two chapters. One name. A full-circle story.
And so, PATTEE was born.
This deeply personal collection of fine jewelry features Montana and Yogo sapphires, reclaimed gold, repurposed gemstones, and stones hand-faceted here in Montana. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted to honor the character, history, and beauty held within every material.
PATTEE is a tribute to Miss Patti, to Pattee Canyon, and to the journey between them—the woman who helped me discover my craft, the place I now call home, and the art of giving something precious a new beginning.
This is more than a jewelry collection. It is a piece of my story, carried forward in gold and gemstones, crafted to become part of yours.
