Pheasant by the Fence Earrings
Officially posted to my website // available
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who entered/shared the raffle recently. I'm so glad we could raise some funds for the Mpls community together. 𖤓
Currently, I am trying to balance staying well informed with the horrors of the world, focus on my job, and somehow squeeze in the time to create more art.
I did the barbed wire portion of these earrings a few months ago, and then stopped. Originally they were going to go on some hoops. When I sat back down at the bench recently, I decided they should be paired with these prairie grass looking dendritic agates. I think I made the right choice, how about you?
I said it in the reel, but fun fact about pheasants: they like to hang out by the road near barbed wire fence posts because they eat the gravel to digest their food better.
That's why it's called road hunting.
Finishing these earrings reminded me I still have so many ideas I have yet to make real.
I doubt you see a lot of those ideas soon, but I promise they are coming.
