The trendy wedding cake! This may have a few different names, most popular is the, " Long Cake."
Let me tell you this cake was a task for sure, but I was so excited for the request! From a custom cake board, to a custom box, to fresh exotic fruits and did I mention it was long!
The venue took place outdoors in a beautiful setting by the lake, in a steep, steep hill 😆! The neighbors next to the venue were so helpful and allowed us to use their drive way instead as it was way less steep and we were good!! They were awesome! So thankful for that option. It was warm out so we had to work on it indoors, and had full access to the bar countertops, hence the liquor in the background😅. Such sweet hospitality at The Finns. Such beautiful grounds!
I just wish I would have seen the bride's reaction and seen it set in it's actual place. Hope that part went smoothly for them! It is always best to be safe during summer heat and keep your cakes indoors as long as possible.
