I have been following the Riley Strain case as well as the Lakelan Riley case.
Many of us have kids this age. Both of these children, young adults, Heather lives taken prematurely over nonsense, and it is very cruel and unthinkable. What happened to both of them. Although neither of them have had a court case completed, it’s obvious that one was murdered and the second one which is Riley Strain, seems to have been roofied.
This could happen to any of our kids who go downtown and hang out on weekends or whatever. It’s terrible.
I hope everyone is educating their kids young adults, even if they don’t wanna hear it about the signs and symptoms of being roofied, and I hope that their friends are such good friends that they would never let their drunk or intoxicated, best friend or fear brother or sister Walk home or try to get home that intoxicated. Friends are supposed to stick together even when they’re drunk or whatever.
Even though my son doesn’t always want to hear my mouth, I continue to educate him and give him tidbits of information about these cases, and he is very careful now when he goes out even more careful than he was before because he’s more aware. I know that their percentages of these things happening are low, but they’re still too high.
I still think that Athens Georgia needs to be cleaned up and I can tell you that on the perimeter of the college is nothing but a mess and it is dangerous. You only have to walk about 10 feet in some areas to be in a very bad situation.
As far as this video, I cannot imagine what Mrs. Srain is going through, but I can tell you that with all of my heart I believe this woman is amazing and incredibly strong and I can’t imagine what it must be like to be in her shoes, but I do put myself in her shoes as much as I can at times so that I can be proactive with my son, and with other kids And adults.
Aiden and I are close to one another similar to the way Mrs. ••Stranger and her son are close and I just can’t imagine… But I do try to have compassion and empathy and be there if only through a prayer…. And let this tragedy be an opportunity to educate other kids and adults.
People get roofied and Athens all the time whether you hear about it or not but believe me, a lot of things are kept hush-hush and Athens. Anyway, I hope everyone will be proactive and educating their kids because perhaps when that drink tasted funny to Riley, maybe that was the culprit and had he not finished that drink? Maybe he would still be alive today? Who knows. I guess when the toxicology comes out if it even shows up in the toxicology, we will now, but I think anybody who saw the videos of Riley strain already know the truth.
But this video here is beautiful and it is bitter, sweet and I pray for Mrs. Strain and her family every day, as well as praying for all the other families going through something like this.
