Well, its long overdue I post this, but here it is! Dalton Roles brand new Chevy II and its a bad unit! All Dalton said was he wanted the baddest door car we could do, and I think we came through! We started by contacting Eddie Hollon for a design, and from gelcoat to clearcoat, we did a ton of work on it, from making new spill plates and incorporating the dial boards into them, molding and bonding in functioning headlights and taillights, to the tiniest accents, like color on wheels, radiator, engine, and even the inside of the scoop! Another fun part of this job working with my pal Jerron Settles on it. He stayed with me for a month and while we got to work on several jobs together while he was here, this was the focus of our time. He helped a ton including layout, taping, spraying and the bulk of the airbrush bumpers, emblems and grille. Looking forward to collaborating on some more projects in the future. Once everything was in final clear, James outdid himself by wetsanding and buffing every surface like a piece of jewelry! Dalton finished assembly on everything and debuted the car a little over a month ago locally, but I'm sure as it ventures out to bigger events, its bound to rack up best appearing awards! Thanks to Dalton and his dad for being great and loyal customers of ours! Look for a short video later on our social media sites of this absolutely stunning hot rod!
