Today we are open for the last time in our 82 year history. We are so blessed to be a part of this for 47 years. We are thankful for our wonderful customers . It was a pleasure to work with you. We got to help make your engagements, weddings , anniversaries and birthdays a little more special. We were overjoyed when you liked the jewelry we made for you. Our employees made this business so much better. Thank you! It's been a great ride!

Our Story

Killelea Jewelers has been a family-owned business since we first opened back in 1939. Donald’s father first got his start during the Depression when he’d go door to door buying gold and silver. After many years and several locations, we moved to our current home in Midlothian, IL, and Donald took over the shop. We specialize in making quality jewelry affordable because we want all of our neighbors to be able to commemorate life’s important moments. You can get a ring custom designed or find reliable repairs of all types, some of which we can even do in-house. On top of that, we also sell and repair beautifully intricate clocks and watches.
