I am retiring from Bauer Jewelry Designs. I have loved meeting with our clients and hand sketching designs that matched their unique styles. My best memories are the stories shared from our clients of their love, passions, interests in life, and of course how they met.
I am very proud of my son, Jake. When he met with clients I could see how they respected his input, knowledge and of course his wonderful award winning designs. They appreciated and loved his superior craftsmanship that generations will enjoy.
The business did enable Jake to flourish. He was one out of twelve worldwide to be tutored by a world renowned diamond and pave bead setter Alexandre Sidorov. He was one out of four across the USA to be selected for the bench competition with Stuller. He took courses in cad design and studied with the masters in hand engraving. All of his jewelry designs are hand fabricated or handcrafted. He is a true custom designer, a true artist.
Jake has decided that he does not want to manage the business on his own. He received several job offers in a short period of time but he has decided to work for Chalmers in Middleton, WI.
It is very bittersweet to say goodbye. We wish you happiness, love & peace.
