Back in the 80’s I made my self a watch , most people in the watch industry told me that it was imposible for me to make a watch , well I ended up making 3 watches. this one in particular was mine ,but I ended up selling it to a dear friend cause I had monetary problems , at times I had a flow of money and at times I had no work , my friend told me that he was going to buy my watch cause one day I was going to become very famous and he was going to sell it back to me , boy was he wrong , many times I try to get out of jewelry but always end up going back , even though money wasn’t there all the time , I decided to keep doing what I like , even if there was no money I was going to be HAPPY and if there was no work I’ll go fishing , so I’ve been doing it for 48 years , I started at 10 making knifes and at 14 I started to take watch repair classes , but it was to mechanical for me and I was more artistic , at 16 I started to work in jewelry at the Polytechnic high school in North Hollywood California with Mr. Sakamoto. I hope he’s still alive so he can see my work he told me no one in school could do the stuff that I was doing then. # #
