New workshop just dropped at ✨

Join me for a one-day exploration into Argentium Silver—a modern alloy that opens up a whole new way of working. Unlike traditional sterling, Argentium can be fused instead of soldered, is highly tarnish-resistant, and offers added strength for your designs.

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn techniques like fusing, balling, and texturing, and walk away with your own finished ring.

Perfect for beginners and seasoned metalsmiths alike—come expand your skills and play with fire 🔥

These last weeks have been…. a lot. From processing the state of the world to experiencing a more personal family emergency. I’ve been trying to go with the flow to an inconsistent rhythm that shifts as soon as I catch up. However today I got a reprieve with a few foggy ocean walks. The ocean is always medicine. The beach was covered with freshly deposited gnarled drift wood as well as the tiny pale ghost of an octopus and many purple urchins. Everything has a pattern. I am also in the midst of relocating my studio. I have been in the same spot for almost 10 years and have collected many precious tools as well as treasures from my daily walks. Moving is challenging and a jewelry studio is filled with a million and one tiny bits and pieces. The tides are changing and motion is in the air. I will always cherish my “in town” studio, its closeness to our wild headlands and our mostly sleepy little town. I will miss the weasel families who have call my porch their home and the amazingly gorgeous blue hydrangeas protecting my door. It has been such an honor to be the last artist using this space as a studio since (I believe) the 70’s. The next month I will do my best to keep up but please grant me a bit of grace as I make this shift. I will be working on knit chain pieces at night while my studio is in disarray so look forward to some new work once the dust has settled. Thank you so much to everyone who has offered support and love. ✨🌊✨🌬️✨. I interpret this photo as encouraging one to trust intuition and to center oneself not based on your surroundings but your inner compass. These photos don’t quite capture their magic—but when they move, they truly sparkle ✨A constellation of Moissanite set directly into white enamel. First discovered in a fallen asteroid, Moissanite was later revealed to be something even more brilliant. With more fire and brilliance than diamond—and without the environmental toll of mining—Moissanite is truly magical.✨

Handcrafted in 14k gold-fill, Moissanite and enamel 🌙✨💫

For the past few years, I’ve been reconnecting with my love for analog photography, and I’m still completely enamored. Fresh out of high school, I took every art class I could at junior college, and it was there that photography truly seduced me.
These days, Mendocino College (formerly College of the Redwoods), where I first learned black-and-white photography, has revived its photography program. Many of the folks I originally learned alongside are back in the darkroom—making art with light, silver, paper, and time. Its alchemical properties are truly alluring.
For my Mendocino friends, there’s a wonderful article in the latest edition of Real Estate Magazine highlighting the photography program, darkroom, equipment, and our knowledgeable instructor Markus Pitzner—definitely worth a read and you might recognize some images. I also have a few prints on display at the Mendocino Art Center Gallery.
The chaos of the world is beyond overwhelming and it feels so important to keep on creating and finding joy where we can. Also, its time for a Matriarchy.

This is a hand colored medium-format black-and-white photograph I took of the lovely .narma on an wonderful overcast Mendocino day wearing Shrine Jewelry.

The Trinity Ring. It seems that now more than ever we’re needing to channel feminine energy. This ring calls in support from our ancestors, the mother, the daughter and the goddess, each represented by the majestic Ruby embraced in warm 14 karat gold. The ruby with its deep blood like hue, symbolizes, love, passion, vitality, strength and good fortune. It represents both the fierce intensity of romantic love, and the enduring resilience of the inner self. The Trinity Ring is a tribute to the power of women and the boundless love we embody as well as our intense fierceness. A powerful piece that speaks to strength and unity in the divine feminine. Made to order in 14k and Ruby.

🤍 Mutual Aid Fundraiser: Help Cover Rent for Families Impacted by Recent Events in Minneapolis 🤍

Join us Saturday, Feb 7 | 3:30–6:30 PM for an afternoon of creative community and collective care at the Mendocino Art Center Jewelry Studio.

Together, we’ll create protective sigils—intentional symbols used to hold meaning, channel energy, and serve as personal talismans. These sigils will be made in solidarity with families sheltering from ICE activity, protesters, and all those affected by ongoing escalation.

Using reclaimed aluminum cans, we’ll emboss symbols and intentions, transforming everyday materials into powerful tools of protection and support.

Suggested donation: $10+
All funds go directly to families to help cover rent, food, and utilities.

Come create, connect, and care for one another. No one is illegal on stolen land. Please share and invite friends!

a brief history

I have a history in the arts from photography to millinery (hat making) to jewelry. Brienna Hall Jewelry morphed from a love of traditional millinery to textile techniques made using metal into a jewelry business. I have always had a love for style as well as artistry. I love to create things that encourage self love and confidence and that make you glow when worn!
