Good Story....

This morning a few people saw my daughter walking to school & me following behind her. Some asked me why I did that & others gave me a stank stare.

I’m very well aware she’s only 10. And she walked Because I told her to.

Because she forgot how to treat adults, So I told her to walk.
Because she mistakenly associated her size with her authority, So I told her to walk.
Because her behavior towards me & other adults is unacceptable,So I told her to walk

Until she can appreciate the free ride to/from school. Respect and listen to me. I'm the mom who is watching to know that she's safe. I'm also the mom who is not here to be her friend. I'm the mom who is okay with her child being angry at her sometimes. I'm the mom who is desperate to leave this world better than I found it, through the people I'm bringing up into it.

A lot of people are so afraid to hurt their kid's feelings, but she'll only be mad at me for a little while.
I'm more afraid of my kid growing up to be an entitled as***le.

We're not here to be their friends. We're here to make sure they grow up to become a friend worth having. So yeah she was walking. Thinking. Reflecting. Maturing. Learning. Growing.
And I'm watching. ❤️

Seen here are rough diamond crystals with polished diamonds from GIA's collection. The top right triangular diamond crystal is called a macle, which is a type of twinned diamond. The period of time when a diamond begins to crystallize and it starts growing is when a slight departure from equilibrium can cause a twin to start forming. The macle twin can be thought of as two octahedra that share an octahedral face, but with one that is rotated 60 degrees from the other.

Twinned diamond crystals can be cut and look no different from other diamonds, although usually the twin plane will remain visible as a grain line on polished surfaces.

At age 17, she was rejected from college.

At age 25, her mother died from disease.

At age 26, she suffered a miscarriage.

Her husband abused her. Despite this, her daughter was born.
At age 28, she got divorced and was diagnosed with severe depression.

At age 29, she was a single mother living on welfare.

At age 30, she didn't want to be on this earth.

But, she directed all her passion into doing the one thing she could do better than anyone else.

And that was writing.

At age 31, she finally published her first book.

At age 35, she had released 4 books, and was named Author of the Year.

At age 42, she sold 11 million copies of her new book, on the first day of release.

This woman is J.K. Rowling. Remember how she considered su***de at age 30?

Today, Harry Potter is a global brand worth more than $15 billion dollars.

Never give up. Believe in yourself. Be passionate. Work hard. It’s never too late. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a peach of a gem! This 20.02 carat diamond has been graded Fancy brownish orangy pink by GIA. Most pink and brown diamonds both get their color from deformation of the crystal structure caused by stress during formation. Many orange diamonds get their color from nitrogen atoms clustered together in a particular way. It takes a rare set of circumstances to produce a diamond with this specific color.
