What began as an idea quickly grew into Big Tae’s, a food truck that traveled throughout Mississippi serving thousands of people, creating jobs, and building a loyal community of supporters known as the Bear Pack.
That momentum came to an unexpected halt when the Big Tae’s food trailer caught fire earlier this week.Thankfully, no lives were lost, but the trailer served as the heart of the business and its primary source of revenue. Because it was uninsured at the time of the fire, the loss has created significant financial challenges as the family and team determine what the future of Big Tae’s will look like.
While that next chapter remains uncertain, a fundraiser has been created to help with the immediate financial impact of the fire and outstanding business obligations, giving the family some support as they navigate what comes next for the business they worked so hard to build.
