have been a struggle for me for years. I finally figured out a nice pattern for them. Wanted to go for a “carved from dragon scale” look with my carving, but it ended up being more wood grain looking. I’m still very happy with em.

Some very simple 5 oz leather bracers I made to use for garb. All the bracers I had were armor grade and too clunky for everyday wear so I threw these together from some scrap.

Trading card games are pretty popular in the communities so I made this featuring the heraldry for my local park, Ironheade Hills. It was built as a prize for an upcoming fundraiser raffle in March.

10 oz leather greaves with some attached 16 gauge steel knee cops. These came together about a year apart. Built the greaves first, and had the knee pieces sitting in my spare parts box waiting to be formed and assembled for a long time. I think I even had the knees attached to something else at one point. It all worked out in the end.

Due to the knees being steel, these aren’t legal for all larp rulesets. being one.

Did a rebuild on these for one a couple weeks back. A quick disassemble, re-dye, and a splint added with his current heraldry tooled and painted on. Should have taken some before and after photos, but I was in fix it mode. Ain’t that just the way.

The first test piece of my new armor pattern (left forearm/elbow) is finished. Blue 10 oz wax hardened splints on a 5oz vambrace and the attached elbows from my last post. The lacing is mainly aesthetic, but I think it adds a cool feel to the piece, especially when paired with the antique nickel quick rivets.

Working on some new patterns for 2025. Pictured here are some (currently) floating elbow armor made from wax hardened 10 oz and 8oz veg tan leather. I plan to attach these to some vambraces. I built a pair very similar to these in 2023 but they were a bit too small, so I made some size adjustments.

Behold! The !!

I’ve recently become enamored with Night Goblins and decided to do a bit of a larp persona change-up. Re-painted some shields, built some daggers and built a whole new set of armor just for the fun of it.

I’m definitely not PolyAmorous, but I’d say I do fall under the category of PolyArmorous.

That was a bad joke and I’m not going to apologize for it.

Some of these are old pictures of armor kits I have since decommissioned, but it’s safe to say at any given moment I have at least two to three full sets of armor ready to wear. Ah, the life of an adhd armorer.

Winterbash ‘24: Yearn for the Mines. A weekend event focusing on the war between Goblins and Dwarves. I was given the honorable role of Goblin King, and though we lost in the end due to the overwhelming amount of mercenary factions the dwarves were able to buy because they don’t just keep their shinies in piles to dance around (weirdos), everyone seemed to have a great time, myself included. My local park, the Ironheade Hills, had a decent amount of people come up. Despite being bitter enemies, the Dwarf King and I were able to settle our differences over a flagon of ale and secure peace between our peoples for the time being. After my co**se was sat upon for picture time and promptly resurrected before any rigor mortis set in.

Just a couple bits of from a very productive day in May. A set of Demi gauntlets (only one pictured) and a gorget for use in cut and thrust and heavy combat. Both were made as gifts for newer fighters to help keep em safe on the field.
