I saw this in a NYC subway and immediately thought it looked like art. It’s just layers of old posters and paint. It reminds me of Ecclesiastes 3:11
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
Even what seems decayed or chaotic can reveal beauty in the right light or moment. Where have you found unexpected beauty?

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I got busy cleaning up some things in the garage I had been putting off, and boy do I feel free!

I haven’t posted much lately between traveling and being under the weather, life has been a little slower these past couple of weeks. But I’m finally easing back in, giving some love to old favorites and adding a few new pieces to the shop.

This one’s an oldie but a goodie a watercolor of wildflowers and roses on a black background. It’s one of those pieces that feels timeless but also perfect for fall. The rich colors, soft brushstrokes, and gentle contrast remind me that beauty can bloom even in the quiet seasons. 🌸

Hello October!
It seems I blinked, and September is gone. October I'm sure will go by just as fast. Still, lots to do on the farm and with my art. We also have a few trips planned. The weather is unexpectedly warm so I will be enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. I hope October brings you so much joy. Please share with me your plans for the month. A little background

I have always been a creative person and have expressed that creativity in many ways over the years. Whether it be through writing or journaling, songwriting, painting, drawing, sewing. My creative expression took a backseat for many years while my children were little and then as they grew I used running as my release. I have finally found the time and space to nurture my creative side and allow it to shape and grow. I now have an Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/RachelClarkFluidArts) where you can find my artwork in digital form as printable cards, artwork, and more. In 2018 I created a Spring and Fall Arts and Craft Fair and Market in my barn and call it, The Barn on Stoney Ridge. The event is a way to share my artwork and a place to allow my creative friends and family to share theirs as well. I also use my artwork to create one of a kind wearable works of art in the form of pendants and earrings and you can find those locally at an event.
