The sun is shining today although it is still “winter coat” weather. My heart longs for spring and the beautiful flowers it brings.

Today I am sharing a Pocket Vase that I created for a very special friend who plans to gift it to another friend. This vase was designed to hang although in the photo it is sitting (temporarily) on a stand. It was also designed to hold water so fresh flowers can be displayed. As an alternative, silk or dried flowers can be placed in the pocket.

I always love returning to my studio after a lengthy trip. I come home excited and motivated to create.

This time I returned from the Sunshine State to my home state where it is gray, windy, and rainy.
I decided to lock myself in my studio, surrounded by colorful pieces of beautiful glass, and create a piece of art while my positive energy levels were still high.

Everywhere I turn there is so much beauty here. The colors of nature are vibrant. The sounds of the ocean lull me to sleep each night. The sky shows off the most gorgeous colors each day and amazing star studded displays every night. My heart is full.

Each day new projects begin to take shape in my head. I am inspired by the endless beauty around me. I so look forward to returning to my studio where I can begin designing, and creating works of art that I will be able to share with you, my loyal followers.
