"Paws in the Park" is one of LARGEST Dog Events in the Charlotte area, mark your calendars and plan to attend.

Rescues & Animal Shelters with fundraising items and dogs available for adoption, Food Trucks, Business & Arts/Craft vendors, Blessing of the Animals, Dog Contests, Photo Booth, Kids Playground, Dare Devil Dogs Frisbee shows and LIVE on stage ~~Chairmen of the Board
Our schedule subject to change:
10am- Event opens w/ DJ Darin Page Henley & Holly Haze MIX 100.9
10:30am- Dare Devil Dogs Frisbee show by large shelter
11:30am- Blessing of the Animals at stage
12pm- Dog Contests at stage w/ WBTV's Rachel Coulter
1-3pm- Chairmen of the Board at stage
2:30pm-Dare Devil Dogs Frisbee show by large shelter
3pm- Event ends

DOG CONTESTS with prizes!
Everyone is welcome to participate, FREE to sign-up.
Sign up required by 11:30am at Charlotte Black Dogs Tent.
(Limit of 15 dogs in each category)

The audience is judging this popular event.

1. Smallest Dog 1 year and older
2. Largest Dog measured around chest
3. Best Dog Trick
4. Best Dressed Female
5. Best Dressed Male
6. Best Dressed Group (min of 2 dogs/max 5 dogs per entry)

Please remember that ALL friendly dogs are welcome to attend and must be on a leash at all times.

PLEASE, no retractable leashes, they are not allowed for safety.

Please feel free to bring a chair or blanket for the grass in front of the stage area.

Shopping / Food / Entertainment on both sides of Main St / Games / Face Painting / Axe Doods / Rock Climbing / Live Music and more happening on Main St and Windsor St in Downtown Monroe.

On Saturday, April 11th, businesses in Downtown Monroe are coming together and hosting Monroe’s Spring Fest from 11am to 5pm. This event will be for all ages so round up your family and spend the day in beautiful Historic Downtown Monroe.
