Peters Creek Jewelry

Peters Creek Jewelry Boho - Minimalist - Eclectic - Hand Crafted Jewelry When I inherited my mother's jewelry, I knew it was unlikely I would wear much of it.

But still, I was attached to the pieces and wanted to find something to do with them. I decided to take them apart and create pieces I would wear. I discovered a passion and talent for designing and creating jewelry. Often my jewelry is created sitting on the banks of Peters Creek, in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Yes, I am planning to retire sometime this year.

I will still have pieces available at The Thing Is Boutique for a while, but I won't be doing any more vendor events.

I know several of you are jewelers, and I have LOTS of display items that I won't be using anymore: ring, earring, bracelet and necklace displays, tablecloths, and a beautiful mannequin. I really don't want to take pictures of all of them, but message me if you want to come out and look at any of them. I'd love to pass them on to someone who can use them. This picture shows some of what I have available.

I'm not ready to sell my tools yet.

Thanks to all of you who came out to see us today! I really appreciate the kind words and support. For a little while I will still have pieces available at The Thing Is Boutique.

Two more pieces created from sterling silver flatware. The heart was created from fork tines, the saddle ring from a demitasse spoon.

The Arts and Wine Festival is tomorrow, and now we have a 100% chance of rain. We'll be under the awning, so if it's at all possible, we will set up. 😏

I'm closing my business this year and this will be my last vendor event, so I will have a sale. I could sell my pieces to a refinery, but I'd rather have them be worn instead of melted down.

Susan and I will be set up on the corner of Fort McKavitt Street and Broad Street 11:00-4:00.

The serving spoon in the second picture became a ring for a friend, and this hair ornament. I textured it, widened two of the holes, then searched my flatware stash until I found a spoon handle that was thin enough and long enough to work.

Come see it Saturday at the Arts and Wine Festival. Hopefully the rain will hold off until late afternoon.

These are parts from cocktail fork handles. I cut them off, filed them smooth, soldered on strips of wire, formed the ear wires, polished them, oxidized the pattern, and polished one more time. Sterling silver. Come see them at the Arts and Wine Fest on Saturday.

This tiny floating heart was created from small fork tines. It's less than an inch wide and I've hung it from an adjustable chain. The fork had four tines, so I made two of them. I couldn't decide if they should be pendants or earrings, but I went with pendants because I rarely make delicate necklaces and I know some of you prefer them. Sterling silver. $50.00.

Come see them and all my new designs at the Arts and Wine Fest on Saturday April 4th. Susan and I will be out on the corner of Fort McKavitt Street and Broad Street 11:00-4:00.
