As a result of Jacques Jewelers closing, I have started a jewelry repair business and will be continuing my Goldsmith services in Martinsville. Though I will be in a new location, after obtaining 32 years bench experience, I am prepared to continue providing quality jewelry and watch repairs to my customers. Jewelry repairs include, but are not limited to, sizing rings, half and full shank replace

ments, building and tipping worn prongs, soldering chains, resizing and repairing bracelets (hinge, tennis, san marco, etc.) I also repair most silver jewelry. Watch repairs include band adjustments, battery replacements (this also includes key fobs for your vehicle), crowns, stems, etc. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

New consignment piece. The pictures don’t do it justice. This ring is platinum and 18k. The center diamond is a 1.86 carat radiant cut natural yellow diamond. It has 18 round natural yellow diamonds surrounding it. 2 trillion cut diamonds with round white accent diamonds. The total carat weight is 3.41
The appraisal from 2008 is $20,000

Marks Jewelers update: currently the store is open and I hope to be here until 5 o’clock this evening. Over the past few days, because of the ice and snow, the store has had major leaking issues. I have had to put out multiple containers and also use tarps. As the temperature rises and the ice on the roof begins to thaw it could start leaking again. If that happens, I will have to close. I will post an update should this happen. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.
