Well, my goodness! What a beautiful connection within our community yesterday. March 8th is International Women’s Day, a perfect day to celebrate Beth Millner, one who provided such strength to all the women in her life. I can not thank everyone enough for all the time dedicated to making this event one to cherish and lighten the emotional load on our hearts. The amount of donations of time, craft supplies, space, music, discussions, food, flowers, love, decorations, hugs, candles, chanting, support, counseling and helping hands brought so much emotion to my soul while in the same moment sparked a lil extra light to know how much Beth was loved by this community. Thank you all for everything. So many wonderful faces that I didn’t get near enough time with, missed hugs, and smiles from across the room. I thank you for being brave and sharing in grief. I was buzzing when I left and broke down about 5 minutes later as I chased northern lights at midnight. We are community. We are love. I will continue to love harder and be the best version of myself that I can muster. In my words on stage my brain was flustered and I said I was Beth’s sparrow, 🫠 not true, I’m her nuthatch. And always will be. 💞 I laughed when I saw the sticker on this plant from Beth when I got home! She still got the last laugh.

Well, history’s been written. Story’s have been told. Memories will go on forever. Time to gather and celebrate the loss of one of our own. Choosing International Woman’s was not a coincidence. Beth was one hell of a strong Female leader in our community. The one who was everyone’s cheerleader, the problem solver, the dirty joke teller, the badass entrepreneur and the friend. 💞💞💞💞 It’s been a rough 2025, I’m hoping hearts will become a little lighter soon.

These bracelets have the star of the show this season. This sterling silver Weeping Willow on Rose Gold fill bands is my first display of entering a lil gold into my work. I’m excited for what’s to come and I think you will be too! 💞✨💃🏽 Until then I’ll be distracted by dressing in style making the most delectable desserts I can muster like this Pistachio Tart which is vegan, GF and raw. And damn was it delicious! It was a truly delightfully tasty Solstice indeed.

Theres so much to be done in the forest, alongside so much beauty that fills our souls. Working for the land and waters has been my path for as long as I can remember. For years I worked for and carried multiple different titles while working in the field and office. was a huge supporter of us and consistently showed up in varies ways to support us and our volunteers in the field. I remember being blown away by all the ways they rooted us on. After I passed the baton of Program Coordinator at the Yellow Dog Watershed Preserve and stepped deeper into my own small business passage, I started doing research of how I could still have an impact in the field while being inside at my jewelers bench. Then I found and upon learning they share the same founder as Patagonia I knew I was heading in the right direction. I havnt talked much about being a member of 1% For the Planet for the last 3 years or why I chose to start donating a portion of every sale to grassroots environmental nonprofits. So I thought a little of my background was an important piece of history to share. While continuing to donate funds to help those do work on the ground, I’ve also dedicated my future to protect 40 acres within the Yellow Dog Watershed. Im ecstatic for all the possibilities ahead and look forward to sharing the off grid dream as it unfolds on top of Moon Mountain.
