This batch is headed to the gallery along with lots of other goodies? I’m excited to have my jewelry on display at the gallery in beautiful and historic downtown Manteo, NC.!

It’s still March, so it’s time to learn a little more about my studio space!

My studio is a beautiful space that my late husband built for me over a decade ago. He loved to repurpose everything he could! The windows are all recycled windows and glass shelves from a store we owned! The mantle and the sink platform are from the decking of the bridge that went from Manteo, NC to Nags Head and the sink was constructed from my grandmother’s bowl and the shaft from my grandfather’s boat! There’s a pie safe from my in-laws and it goes on! I love my studio and feel wrapped in love when I’m there! ❤️

I have a few more post coming this week! Thanks to for putting so much effort into the Meet the Maker campaign this year! I am way behind, but I’ve been having fun this winter and April is perfect for catching up!

It is a happy Sunday! I have finally completed my hinged bracelet with some fun little memories tucked sweetly inside two sterling silver capsules and topped with a clear sapphire covers. The center piece is a beautiful white pearl with lots of luster. Carey quartz and sterling ammonites complete the ensemble. 🐚🏝️

If you saw my previous reel, you know that this was a piece I chose to make as a practice piece after taking an amazing and very interesting class from the talented

The class was all about hinges and hollows, with so many ideas presented to turn memories into beautiful jewelry! I can’t wait to try some other ideas, but for now I will enjoy my new bracelet!
