We do all types of jewelry repairs from chain repairs to prongs to restringing and refurbishing older pieces. Repairs done on premises by Graduate Gemologist Lauren Masucci. Lauren has over 27 years experience at the bench doing repairs. We offer a variety of services from jewelry repair, watch and clock repair, engraving, custom design, insurance appraisals. We sell engagement rings, wedding bands, gold sterling silver jewelry, pearls, Citizen watches, watch batteries and bands.

We have had an extreme number of rings in for repair lately due to people wearing them while working out at the gym. There are several reasons to leave them at home, especially if you are lifting weights. The bars on weights are typically a very rough texture so that you can get a good grip and not have the weights slip. This textured bar will mark up and gouge gold, silver and platinum. Lighter weight, thinner rings will bend and split. Precious metals are quite soft in comparison to the steel that most barbells and curl bars are made of. With the high price of precious metals right now jewelry is much safer left at home not to mention that you will save yourself money in repairs.
