Do you know about all of the meaningful details that go into a Super Bowl ring?! 🏈💍 I’ve never seen a piece of jewelry with more meaning packed into one design. Almost every millimeter of this Super Bowl ring represents something special to commemorate the big win and events leading up to it. - Director of Rehabilitation & Performance Coach of the Buccaneers - shared these amazing photos (via my cousin) of her very own ring from the 2021 Super Bowl LV where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers celebrated their victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, winning 31-9. But let’s get to the ring…because it’s pretty incredible to see what went into it!
• 8 emerald cut diamonds on either side represents 8 straight wins, the longest in history
• 9 diamonds on the left trophy represents the 9 points allowed in the game, one of the fewest in NFL history
• 319 diamonds in the exterior top of the ring representing the final score of 31-9
• Each ring is personalized with the player or team member’s name and jersey number (or NFL logo if not a player)
• ‘One Team, One Cause’ the team’s mantra under Coach Bruce Arians
• This was the first time in history that a Super Bowl ring was designed with a removable top
• Engraved underneath with the date of the game and ‘Historic’ as they were the first team to win in their home stadium
• Hidden inside the ring features a hand engraved 3-dimensional stadium (even more special that it was their own) surrounded by the scores of their playoff victories
• The single diamond represents the spot where the team ran out of the tunnel
The ring is made in 14k white and yellow gold with 15 carats of diamonds and was manufactured by Jason of Beverly Hills.
