🍷 Ask us ANYTHING.

Wine snobbery, weird growing-season gossip, why the weather ruined last year's harvest, what we actually drink on a Tuesday night — nothing's off limits.
Drop your question in the comments or DM us.

We're picking our favorites to answer in our next Q&A episode — best question gets a shoutout (and maybe a bottle 👀).

Deadline: August 31st.

Go.

Oh Happy Days…

Everything, everywhere, all at once!!!

The fight never stops.

Where things stand today (July 24, 2026):

• Section 122’s 10% global surcharge hits its hard statutory 150-day sunset today. The president cannot extend it unilaterally, and Congress has shown no urgency to do so.
• The planned replacement — a proposed 12.5% Section 301 duty on 46 countries — missed its July 20 completion deadline; the final rule is still pending as of this morning.
• That means there’s a real possibility of a gap window — average effective tariff rates could drop from roughly 13% to roughly 7% overnight if nothing fills the vacuum before Section 301 finalizes.

The uncomfortable part for anyone planning around this: nobody, including trade lawyers watching it hour-by-hour, can currently tell you what the tariff on a given product from a given country will be next week. I’d check a live tracker (Tax Foundation’s or the Atlantic Council’s) rather than treat anything as final today.

It's finally happening!

Our podcast is live on your favorite streaming platforms, and the first episode is out.

We'll focus on tales and trails of our favorite region, telling stories that are unknown to many.

As too much screen time is bad for you (and we don't plan on making this a professional career), we'll try to keep episodes to about 10 minutes for our TALES (stories and myths) and under 20 minutes for our TRAILS (village, geography, and education), with links to maps and sources.

Our first episode is called “The Five Who Threw No Stones: Burgundy’s Real Biodynamic Pioneers.”

Burgundy biodynamic didn’t start with the famous names; it started with five overlooked pioneers who kept going long before anyone cared — and that changes the whole story.

This is how much rain (or else) the Cote d’Or received this week. This is the extent of what I can see with the suscription but all 5 Cotes seem to have received water as well as hail and in some area very strong winds in some cases such as North of Marsannay, Viré-Clessé, Pierreclos as well as a few of the Beaujolais Crus.
