The 15.10 carats Fancy Vivid Blue Emerald Cut Diamond is known as the DeBeers Cullinan Blue. It is graded Internally Flawless and is the largest Fancy Vivid Blue Diamond to hit the auction market so far. Only 1% of blue diamonds earn the status of Fancy Vivid Blue which is the most desirable color grade.

The Cullinan Blue is classified as a Type IIb; these are diamonds that have Boron as a desired impurity within the "all carbon" crystal lattice. Type IIb diamonds are extremely rare; only 0.1% of all diamonds are this classification.

In case you were wondering how much you need in your piggy bank for this incredible beauty...... it sold for $57.5 million !

Orange Sunset

Like a rich orange sunset in the desert, this stunning 4.53 carats emerald cut Fancy Orange sapphire is unique in many ways. The color is vibrant and truly mezmerizing. Violets and Asscher Diamonds

In our Breathless rings we feature beautiful gemstones and diamonds set in elegant, hand-crafted platinum. We created the pictured ring for a client who wanted to create an engagement ring with his fiancee's favorite color - Violet!

So we started with a striking, classical Asscher-cut diamond and paired it with two vibrant violet-colored side diamonds. Our client was happy to report that the ring left his fiancee breathless!

Morning Glory and Sapphire Ring

As the weather begins to turn colder, my thoughts often turn to warmer months in the garden. Each summer the back wall of my garden blossoms into a vibrant cascade of white and lavender morning glories attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. To celebrate this explosion of color, foliage and fauna I created a special ring.

Across the top of the ring I captured the colors of the flowers with a shimmering, clear sapphire and two trillium-cut lavender sapphires. The sapphires were then set in a quatrefoil bezel which surrounds the gemstones like a sturdy garden wall.

This luscious raspberry pink sapphire floats above a rounded platinum band pavé-set with thirty brilliant diamonds. The small diamonds shimmer and sparkle like early morning dew drops on a cobblestone street. Hence the ring's name "Rue Pavé".
