Built on a solid foundation of hard work, integrity, and strong principles, Diamond Castle was established in Woodbridge, NJ, in 1989. From the beginning, we knew that continuing and expanding our education within the jewelry industry would prove to be an important element to our success. Our instincts were correct and by the early '90s, Diamond Castle had nearly doubled in size. We further enhanced our business by building a sales team with outstanding qualifications and a dedication to exceptional customer service that matched our own. Owning our own jewelry manufacturing facility has allowed Diamond Castle to acquire the specialized knowledge of both a superior retail jeweler and a manufacturer. This unique combination, along with the continuing education that we provide for our sales team as well as ourselves, truly sets Diamond Castle apart from the rest. In 2004, we moved to the Marlboro Diamond Plaza. Thanks to our loyal customers, we quickly outgrew the location and have moved to our new, permanent, luxurious building in Manalapan, just a few short miles south. We are excited to be bringing you an even larger selection of only the finest jewelry - as well as an expanded repair center - in our new building!

FLUORESCENTS:
Fluorescents can arise naturally or be added to a diamond to better the color of a diamond, over time fluorescents can cause a milky or cloud like ☁️ effect within your diamond which of course dims the shine and brilliancy. I learned this within my first week & pledged to NEVER purchase a diamond with fluorescents
When purchasing a diamond for a customer I ALWAYS look at _8_ things… YES YOU READ CORRECTLY…8! Meaning 8 factors affect the pricing going up or down.
Carat Weight | Color | Clarity | Cut | Certification | Fluorescents | Excellence Rating | Location |
Trends also affect pricing due to the effect they have on the availability of diamonds in the market.
eg: 5Ct button back cushion cut is going to make elongated cushions more popular than , and we still receive request for the ring.
1. Know what you like and what you don’t
2. Have a budget, (girls this is HIS budget, you don’t need to know it)
3. Lab Grown or Natural decide what you’re both comfortable with
4. Pricing is based on all 8 factors listed above, giving on one could make a diamond more affordable. I prefer to give on clarity so long as the diamond is EYE CLEAN.
5. The second thing I’ll give on is color, but, very slightly D-F is colorless so why pay for D if the F works.
6. Certification, there are a handful of labs which certify diamonds but the best of the BEST is GIA.
7. Excellence matters! If the cut of a diamond is not 3X or 2X for Elongated shapes the diamond will not reflect light properly. It will dilute the fire, brilliancy and more…try not to sway on this.
The Best Tip We Can Ever Offer Is Finding a Jeweler You Can Trust and Seeing Them At Least 2X per Year. This does not mean you need to buy fine jewelry this often but little visits to the repair shop will keep your jewelry and your relationship fresh ✨
Buying jewelry is an investment, you should be confidant and comfortable with the transaction.

2. Lab Grown Diamonds ARE DIAMONDS
- is no difference in the look feel or composition
3. Engagement rings and Jewelry should be checked by a jeweler at least 2 times a year
4. Jewelry appraised over $1500 should be insured!
- typically $15 per $1000 A YEAR!
*get your jewelry insured ladies!!
5. Jewelry appreciates in value, designer bags, shoes and designer jewelry does not.
- basically, you’re paying for the name not quality
6. Last but not least and one of my favorites….JEWELRY SHOULD BE WORN and ENJOYED! Pieces you’re not wearing should be redesigned or traded in for something you will wear.
