Another wonderful French Medal! An un-awarded piece without an inscription on the back. The front side has field trial/hunting dogs and the reverse has a shepherd puppy. Check out the listing on Etsy to see the 'puppy side'!

It did not feel right to list something from maison du roi on Bastille day!! Early 18th century silver jeton (token used for counting) with issue of the stables of Louis XV. I found some wonderful silver French jetons/medals from the 18th to early 20th century. For me, falling down the rabbit hole of research is so much fun!! They are exceptional pieces of art and I am so excited to share them with you!
