We will be in the store this Saturday, November 13th, from 8-12. I am not participating in Frosty Follies this year, because I’m not re-stocking merchandise or decorating, and I’m only able to be in my store on Saturdays (and not every Saturday). But I would rather sell my current merchandise to you at a deep discount than scrap it. I have discounted a lot to some lucky shoppers already, but I have more to sell. If you’re looking for a deal or if you just want to visit, come see us!

Even though I am busy being the mayor, I still have jewelry I need to sell. This photo represents just a little of it. I’ve got rings and bracelets and necklaces and chains and watches…and I will make you a deal. I would much rather sell it to you than scrap it.

I am planning on being open on Saturday, November 6th and Saturday, November 13th from 8 am until noon. I will be available other Saturdays besides those two, also. Just message me if you want to come by any Saturday. I still put batteries in watches and size watch bands if you catch me here. I’m at the store right now doing just that. If you see my white truck out front, I’m probably here. I cannot help you during the week because being mayor keeps me busy every day. But I’ll help you any Saturday if at all possible.

As most of my customers know, things are changing at McGuire's Jewelry. I begin my tenure as mayor tomorrow, so today was my last full day at the jewelry store. I will be in the store this Saturday morning (July 3rd), and I still have some deeply discounted merchandise.

I have enjoyed being a retail jeweler for 37 years. Walking out of the store today was a little bittersweet. I've been thinking a lot about my dad these past few days. He opened McGuire's Jewelry in 1948. It's been part of my life for many, many years, and it will be unusual not being there everyday. But I am looking forward to new challenges and my new job, and I'm ready to go to work for the citizens of Macon.

Clearance Sale on Everything!

When my term as Mayor begins, I will no longer be in the Jewelry Store on a regular basis, so I need to sell my merchandise now.

I am willing to discount everything: all rings, necklaces, chains, earrings, bracelets, watches...even giftware. It all needs to go. Pick something out and let's make a deal!

The sale is going on NOW and lasts the entire month of June, but come in early for the best selection.
