Little bits! Aiming to get this sweet wren pendant done for our festival this weekend in Crested Butte! For now I won’t be posting finished pieces… I’ll save that story for after the festival. 😵‍💫

Happy Birthday Mom! 8 flowers for 8 decades young. The center flower is for the 8th decade with a ruby at the center which is the stone for an 80th birthday AND her birthstone! The running saying in the family is what a delicate flower she is… though I would call that flower strong, resilient and of course beautiful… definitely a wild perennial.
We had such a fabulous time for her birthday celebration in FL that I forgot to take pictures as usual! So a few from the past and recent years will have to do!

And a little plug for her… she wrote a book well worth the read called Secret Battles. It’s a historical fiction based off of my grandfather’s journals and letters to my grandmother during WWII. Check it out on Amazon!
