Valentine's Day is just around the corner and the ads for heart themed jewelry are coming thick and fast! I just got an ad for $20 diamond studs and pendants from a large chain retailer who shall go unnamed. Folks, any diamond jewelry that retails for $20 will be the size of a pinhead and be so carbon-ed up that you will be surprised that they even bothered. Many retailers take advantage of the fact that the general public knows very little about fine jewelry.
We have a nice selection of sterling silver heart-themed jewelry that will please both the recipient and the buyer. While Valentine's Day used to be a "couples only" event, anymore people buy for mothers, daughters, granddaughters, grandmothers.........those people you love whose day you would like to make special. No matter how carefully you plan, there always seems to be someone who should have made the Christmas list and didn't, or someone you'd like to do something special for at the last minute. We have great things in all price ranges, from stocking stuffer to impressive. All can be gift wrapped, and even mailed if needed. We will be open until 6 tonight, and 10-6 Wed-Sat., open eves by appt. So even if the roads get bad or if it's too late for shipping, you can always get a lovely gift from us. Last night around midnight I finished adding virtually all of our remaining Eisenberg Ice Christmas pieces to Ebay. I have already sold 8 pairs of earrings since then; you are welcome to purchase them on ebay, all of them have Buy-It-Nows and some additionally have Best Offers, with most of the BINs being less than retail. A few styles are still available in multiples, but most are the last one of each style. Insured shipping is $3.75, if you order more than one item I will make sure that shipping is as close to cost as possible. Your items will arrive gift boxed. You are most welcome to buy these in-store, as well, I think I can remove the listing if it hasn't sold. I have pictured some of the earring styles that are left, all very wearable for Christmas parties and holiday get-togethers, and if you need a gift for someone who doesn't have pierced ears, a couple of these styles are clip.

We can change the findings, as well, if you prefer a different type/color. You can order similar things from Etsy, but the quality will not be the same and you have to pay postage! Yes, we shop the competition so you don't have to....

This is the time of year when most men start to wake up to the fact that Dec. 25 is just around the corner, so this week is Men's Week at the store. Since some of the little darlings labor under the delusion that a token of their undying affection is a new snow blower (one year my hubby rushed out on Dec. 24th and bought the first thing he saw, a cowboy-themed butter dish) we gals just have to use a little friendly persuasion to get our hearts desire. Since today is a Friday, our special today is an extra 10% off on things for casual Friday. I have pictured a few representative pieces, but there are many more things instore that qualify for things that go well with casual clothing. Whether you are purchasing a Christmas gift or something for yourself (or both), I think you will find these to be very wearable, and there's no reason you couldn't wear most of them with more dressy looks if you wanted to.
