I love the healing qualities of natural gemstones. I was inspired to create simple gemstone bracelets, after a stone I was carrying in my pocket tumbled to the ground and broke into pieces .... These days, I don't always have pockets either! I wear these bracelets and Malas as a reminder of my intention, using the natur

al properties of these beautiful stones, to help me clear, move, open, transmute, heal, protect or manifest. Each time I notice the stones, I am reminded of my intention, helping bring it to the forefront of my mind and be more and more present with it throughout the day. I work as a Spiritual Therapist, and clients often ask for a piece that will help them with what they are currently working through. My clients started requesting other items, and so the wraps, necklaces and earrings appeared... even rings...

Last of this season’s blackberries and first of the raspberries. This is only the second year the raspberries have fruited, we are in for a good crop by the looks of them!

Which is your favorite shade of amber? I really can’t decide. 8mm Baltic amber from Lithuania, with guru beads that I had custom made too!

Fern Canyon, means walking up the very cold stream, absolutely worth it! This was used for filming in one of the Jurassic Park films.
Then we went in search of the Lupine bloom, and hiked in the prairie area inland of the redwoods, and we able to look back at the marine layer again. We also saw a pine martin on our way back through the forest.

We had a lovely day hiking in Jedediah state park amongst the old growth redwoods, even saw a salamander. A coastal walk in crescent city and the marine layer finally lifted as we drove back along the coast.

We visited the Avenue of Giants in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. An ancient woodland, with some trees estimated to be 2000 years old. The ground is soft from all the organic matter. Walking amongst them was so quiet. The scale of these beauties is hard to capture. We landed in our spot on the Klamath River where we’ll be for a few nights.

Heading north for a few days of chilling. Spent the night at a lovely vineyard with a coffee shop that makes good espresso and excellent cheese cake and banana bread!

There was just enough time to catch Pearl’s Taiji class before we head out of town. She teaches Daoist yoga on Mondays and Taiji on Tuesdays, both at 9am, go practice with her if you can!
