I’ve been OUTSIDE! I recently shared in my newsletter that I have been coming out of a fog. I have noticed that I’ve been very unmotivated and uninspired for awhile now. Chalk it up to a combo of hormones and the big move I made from the West Coast to the East Coast. It’s been an adjustment getting used to weather (haha especially winter), being away from my people, my routine, and creating a new life.
I haven’t moved to a more permanent home yet, and being in limbo without my studio set up has made it hard for me to be as creative as I’d like. It’s a lesson in patience and acceptance. I’m learning to just let things be and not push. Nothing like getting out and exploring my current surroundings, taking advantage of the amazing weather and local events to jump start my creativity and energy. I’ve also been addressing my health.
Being more social has helped this extrovert feel more alive again. Here’s some things I’ve been up to in the last few weeks:
- Started painting again! I took an online class, and I love learning new processes and mediums like acryla gouache.
- Exploring the beach and nature in VA. Lots of nature walks.
- Health is getting back on track. Down 12 lbs and feeling so much better.
- This crazy, sci-fi hydroponic plant trailer was fascinating!
- Feeling cute - good hair day. Also found a hairdresser to help me get my silver crown thriving again.
- Visited historical Williamsburg
- Attended a few talks
- Visited sign painter incredible shop. Hi Igor!
- Cooking has been my new form of creativity.
- Visited DC. Check out this gorgeous restaurant! Saw the MLK memorial.
- Attended the and saw some amazing pottery.
- Attended the “Arts in the Park” art show in Richmond and visited my client in their booth
- Finally saw the !
What are you doing to boost your energy and feel inspired lately?
