She came in yesterday afternoon. Five business days after buying the
stone. The ring was on the velvet. The case opened. The 5.03 ct oval
caught the light exactly like the render said it would.

This is Part 3 of the 5.03 ct oval series.
(The IGI cert cover was Part 1. The CAD + render post was Part 2.)

Where the ring is now:
The CAD got approved. The 14k yellow gold render went out for client review.
She greenlit it. The bench took it from screen to metal.

Four prongs were set on the cathedral basket. The low-profile head was
sized at 6.40 mm. The shank was drawn down to a slim 2.70 mm width
with a comfort-fit interior. The polish was done. The hallmark was
stamped. The stone was set.

The piece weighs approximately 4.0 g.
It measures out as designed: 14.11 × 9.44 × 5.8 mm at the girdle.

Now it sits in the case — waiting for her to pick it up.
