A client saw a ring that I posted a few months back and fell in love with it. She commissioned me to make the same look but using either Indicolite Tourmaline or Aquamarine. She said most important to her was the size and proportion of the gem.⁣

I looked for months and months- and I almost gave up. Sometimes people don't realize how difficult it is to find a specific look. All the gems I found, if they were the right color, the size or cut wasn't right. Or if the size and quality was good, the cutting was bad (large window etc). ⁣
⁣
I'm so happy I finally found the perfect stone- almost. I still had to recut it from a wider pear shape and lost a little stone weight. But I'm thrilled I could find an Aquamarine that finally held up to my quality standards and suited the style my client wanted. ⁣
