We kept the timeless round brilliant silhouette and added a delicate tulip basket underneath. The basket was crafted in white gold to create a two-tone look, allowing the setting around the diamond to stay bright and white so the stone can really sparkle, while the yellow gold band gives it that warm, classic finish.

Our client was looking for a natural round brilliant diamond set in a timeless two-tone 18K gold setting. We were able to source this beautiful 2.70 ct GIA-certified natural diamond that has the presence of a 3 ct—all while staying under $10K. Because of the diamond’s beautiful warm tone, Jeff chose white gold prongs to complement the center stone while keeping the rich warmth and shine of an 18K yellow gold band. Classic round brilliant, four-prong solitaire, with a subtle two-tone touch. You really can’t go wrong.
