I'm just keeping the generational trauma alive and well if you are in a family jewelry business, or your family got you into the business, you know how amazing this business is, but also how stressful this business can be. I love my job, and I love making beautiful jewelry for my amazing clients. But this is a very expensive business, and there's a lot at stake. All I know is that I have three generations who are guiding me and making me a stronger jeweler every day.

How to find an independent jeweler is the most asked question and I love answering it! Always check in with a trusted and fabulous family member or friend, they will send you to their jeweler who they trust. Check local neighborhood community pages and ask, you will get the local favorites. Also, check you towns chamber or commerce! It's a great way to find trusted businesses in you area. The gold necklace that Anne Hathaway is wearing in Devil Wears Prada 2 has been on my wishlist of pieces to make. Now we all know the right way to do this necklace is to wait and hunt for a vintage pocket watch chain and add diamonds to make it pop. That's exactly what I did. Which means I only have one of these toggle gold and diamond necklaces. So act fast!
