The Miss California USA Legacy Crown Dedication Rings by INTA Gems & Diamonds to Be Awarded to 2023 State Titleholder Winners
The rings are designed with the idea that each CA state contestant and the winners should think about what they are dedicating their competition to?
The Legacy Crown Dedication Rings will be limited edition rings exclusively for the winners of the Miss California USA and Teen USA pageant. The Dedication Rings are the 3rd version of the Legacy Crown rings by INTA Gems & Diamonds for the CA State titleholders.
The Miss California USA Legacy Crown Dedication Ring will feature a natural blue sapphire and will be valued at $15,800. The Miss California Teen USA Legacy Crown Dedication Ring by INTA Gems & Diamonds is crafted of 18K white gold and yellow sapphire and white diamonds valued at $8,800.
Peter Young, Creative Director of INTA Gems & Diamonds said, “We are elated to be returning to the Miss California USA pageant after a 5 year hiatus. We were proud to be a part of a legacy of a community of incredible titleholders, contestants and sponsors.”
The Legacy Crown has a natural blue sapphire in the middle of a heart. It represents one of the gemstones from our mine in Cambodia. My family were refugees and were able to bring a handful of precious gemstones to start their business. We were honored to be the California State jewelers and the blue sapphire reminds of where we came from and what one could achieve in our new homeland in the United States.
Peter Young added, “We dedicate the re-introduction of the Legacy Crowns to all the refugees that are struggling in the world at this time. Refugees from Ukrainian refugees who are also fleeing for their lives from the war. We stand with you.”
Hence for each contestant and winner, what do they dedicate their competition to?
Executive Director of Miss California USA, Kristen Bradford added, “We are proud to have INTA Gems & Diamonds our official jeweler once again. With the Legacy Crown Dedication Rings, each of the winners will have a beautiful, valuable reminder of what they would like to dedicate their year of service to as our CA state titleholders.”

We would like to thank the Miss Universe Organization and everybody who has been a part of and who has been a part of the Miss California USA Organization for all of their incredible support over the years. We are very proud of the fact that the Legacy Crowns have been involved in the success of the state pageant and its titleholders. We are looking forward to continued work with the future California state titleholders with the Legacy Crowns.
Over a decade ago, the Legacy Crowns were first introduced in 2010. Peter Young of INTA Gems & Diamonds was commissioned to design new crowns for the California state pageant over the gay marriage controversy at the 2009 Miss USA pageant. Within the Legacy Crowns there are many elements that represent the beauty of California including sun, stars, waves and coastline. At the center of the crowns, there is a heart because Young wanted a message focused on love, unity and the beauty of California. Their message continues with their re-introduction for events and photoshoots as a powerful symbol of dedication to Miss California USA and Miss California Teen USA.
